Athletics are an important part of school life. Arbor currently fields teams in boys and girls basketball, six-man football, volleyball, and cheerleading. Our first priority is to promote character and the friendships that can develop in competition, but we train for all of our sports with the attitude to win.
Athletics provide an important culture for all of the students in the school. Friday night football games during the fall attract people from all over the community, and the basketball games are packed to capacity every single week during the season.
Arbor participates in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS). Through TAPPS our students get the experience of district competition, as well as the potential for post-season playoffs at the bi-district, regional, and state levels. |
