Education For Life...

When you’re a child you learn the alphabet. With that knowledge you learn how to read. That’s why the alphabet is one of the first things that all schools teach when your child arrives. The rest of their education is based on that foundation. In the same way, the rest of their life is based on the knowledge they receive in school.

We place great importance on providing an excellent foundation of knowledge. Our school is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International, which is recognized by the state of Texas. We go beyond the standard by providing specified learning tailored to the gifts of our students, and teaching a thorough knowledge of the Bible.

Wisdom For Living

We realize that school is only a few hours of the day, and that our students live life on and off campus. Students need Biblical wisdom to live abundant lives with rich friendships and satisfaction in their accomplishments.

We have built an entire educational experience - from ABC’s and arithmetic to the high school culture - upon the principle that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge and the instruction of wisdom. We invite our students to seek wisdom in their youth, and to base all of their decisions upon the Word of God. Students are encouraged to watch wisdom in practice through our unprecedented mentoring program – Wisdom for Living – which pairs students with an adult mentor who can offer balanced and godly counsel. By spending time getting to know each other, the mentor and student build a relationship based on faith, trust, honesty and mutual respect. This foundation paves the way for mentors to share insights based on their own experiences and girded with wisdom from God’s Word.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Students are encouraged to pursue their own interests in a variety of programs that we offer. Through arts, athletics, worship music, and many service opportunities students can gain confidence from their accomplishments, and develop friendships with their classmates around common interests.

Parent Participation (PSO)

The PSO is an integral part of Arbor. Every parent is expected to serve on one of the PSO committees. If a committee is not selected, administration and/or PSO leadership will assign committee membership.

PSO Objectives

  • To give service and support to teachers, to students, and to the school.
  • To promote fellowship and involvement among Arbor parents.
  • To support excellence in education.
  • To encourage spiritual growth among Arbor families.

PSO Classroom Participation

Parents are always welcome in the classroom to observe the children and to assist teachers. Please check with the teacher first so there will not be too many parents on hand in any one-class period.

Each room will need one or more room mothers, as well as other parents to help with parties and other classroom needs.

When a parent is at the school, we ask that they check in at the school office and, if there to volunteer, that they sign the volunteer log located in the office.
